Lady Bulldogs Trample Over MUW

Tougaloo, Miss. - The Lady Bulldogs continued their winning ways as they trampled over Mississippi University for Women in straight sets (25-2, 25-9, 25-13) tonight in the Dawg Pound. The win advances the Lady Bulldogs to 9-8 on the season.

Carolyne Edwards and Megan Besecker led the Lady Bulldogs with 9 kills apiece. ShonTaesha Zeigler had 13 digs while Alexandra Jwainat had 14 assists and Teriyana Tolbert had 10 assists. The Lady Bulldogs will return to action on Saturday as they travel to Holly Springs to take on Rust in conference action. Match is scheduled for 1:00 P.M.
