TOUGALOO'S EDWARDS SELECTED TO GCAC VOLLEYBALL ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

TOUGALOO, Miss.-The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference announced the 2015 GCAC Volleyball All-Conference teams today. Tougaloo's Carolyne Edwards was selected to the second team for her efforts this season.

Edwards, a freshman all around player, has been a powerhouse for the Lady Bulldogs on both offense and defense. She has posted over 254 kills during her freshman year with the Lady Bulldogs. Edwards is ranked in the Top 10 in the conference in three categories; #3 in kills (254), #8 in digs (295), #9 in hitting percentage (.194). Tougaloo has played 118 sets; Edwards played in 115 of those sets, which is the most on the young Lady Bulldog team.

The Lady Bulldogs will rely heavily on Edwards going into the GCAC Tournament this week in Little Rock, Ark.
