TOUGALOO FRESHMAN EARNS PLAYER OF THE WEEK RECOGNITION

New Orleans (GCAConf.com) – The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference office announced today the GCAC Volleyball Players of the Week for the tenth week of the 2015 season. Tougaloo College freshman Kayla Cole has been chosen as Defender of the Week.
GCAC Defender of the Week: Kayla Cole, TOUGALOO (FR, DS/L, Southaven, Miss.)
Kayla Cole earns her first Defender of the Week award after helping the Lady Bulldogs pull within one game of fourth in the GCAC standings with a pair of conference victories over Talladega and Philander Smith. In those two matches, Cole posted a total of 44 digs. She has 11 matches with at least 20 digs on the season.
