BULLDOGS CAPTURE PIECE OF REGULAR SEASON TITLE

Tougaloo, Miss. - Not only was it Homecoming and Senior Night 2022, it was also turn into Championship Saturday as the Bulldogs took down Fisk University in the "Battle of the Bulldogs" 70-62 to grab a piece of the 2022 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship.

With this win, the Bulldogs ended conference place tied at 6-2 with Philander Smith College, who the Bulldogs will share the title with this year. Leading the way for the Bulldogs was Cameron Copeland with 19 points. Sebron Carter finished his finale in the Dawg Pound with a double double of 11 points and 10 rebounds, Antwan Bean had 11 points and Darryl Jones snagged 10 rebounds for the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs will host Lane College in a non-conference season finale on Monday in the Dawg Pound before heading the Little Rock to compete for the 2022 GCAC Conference Tournament Championship. Game time for the Bulldogs and Dragons is 6:00 P.M.
