BULLDOGS ROLL PAST OAKWOOD 82-65

Tougaloo, Miss. - The Tougaloo College Bulldogs hosted Oakwood University in non-conference action last night in the Dawg Pound. The Bulldogs rolled past the Ambassadors with ease to claim an 82-65 victory.

The Bulldogs quickly jumped out on the Ambassadors early in the game and took a commanding 50-29 halftime lead over the Ambassadors. In the second half, the Ambassadors were only able to outscored the Bulldogs by 4 points and the Bulldogs eased to an 82-65 victory to advance to 2-0 on the young season.

Cameron Woodall led all scorers with 20 points. Sebron Carter followed with a career-high 18 points, Antwan Beans added 13 points and Trajan Fielder chipped in 11 points. Carter led all rebounders with a career-high 16 rebounds for a career night for the senior forward. The Bulldogs will be back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Laurel, MS to take on Southeastern Baptist College. Game time is set for 5:30 P.M.
