BULLDOGS END SEASON IN HISTORIC FASHION
The Bulldogs ended the 2022 campaign on a high and historic note. For the first time in Tougaloo baseball history, the Bulldogs played Division I SWAC Alabama A&M University.
The game was definitely one for the record books, as it was a true "Battle of the Bulldogs", but it was Tougaloo that prevailed and escaped with a season finale upset in a 9-8 10th inning victory over Alabama A&M. Simar Thomas came in a stole the win; pitching the last 2 innings and only giving up 1 run and had 1 strikeout.
Leading the Bulldogs to this historic win was Tyler Hickman with 4 hits and 2 RBIs. Christian Borders followed with 2 hits (including a triple), 3 runs and 2 RBIs. Bradford Patton ended his collegiate career with 2 hits (including a solo home run), 2 runs and 1 RBI. La'nas Torrey had 2 hits, 1 run and 2 RBIs, Matt Jones had 2 hits, 2 runs and 1 RBI and freshman Khilan Magee had 2 hits and 1 run.
The Bulldogs ended the season 10-33.
