In addition to GPA honors, several student-athletes and former Bulldogs received top academic distinction awards. Makinna Jones was recognized for Highest Achievement in Health and Recreation, while Brayland Ferguson earned Highest Achievement in Health and Physical Education.
Former student-athletes were also celebrated for their academic excellence, including Ke'Ira Collier (Highest Achievement in Child Development), Morgan Williams (Highest Achievement in Master of Arts in Child Development), and Matt Jones (Highest Achievement in Master of Arts in Teaching).
Tougaloo's Honors Convocation once again showcased the strength of its student-athletes in the classroom, reflecting a culture where academic success remains just as important as athletic achievement.
