Tougaloo College Sports Hall of Fame

It is with sincere regret that we announce the postponement of the Tougaloo College Sports Hall of Fame event scheduled for Spring 2016. Thank you to those that submitted your information.  It will be placed in our files and will be included in the selection process when this event is rescheduled. We will continue to post updates on the website. You are still welcomed to submit your nominations based on the criteria below.

Any former Tougaloo student- athlete, administrator, coach, etc., (living or deceased) who received athletic awards from the Tougaloo College Department of Athletics and excelled athletically is eligible for the Sports Hall of Fame.  This consideration takes effect once the nominee has reached or exceeded five years after his/her athletic eligibility has been exhausted and the person has either graduated or departed from Tougaloo College. In addition, nominees with Meritorious Service awards who also made significant contributions to Tougaloo athletics are eligible for consideration.

Any person may recommend an eligible individual for consideration as a nominee. Recommendations should be accompanied by information regarding the achievements of the individual being recommended. Once placed on the list of candidates, a person remains on the list for four years unless he/she is re-nominated.

Recommendations can be mailed or emailed with completed form and any supporting documents to:
