Tougaloo, Miss. - The Tougaloo College Lady Bulldogs had no problems knocking off LeMoyne Owen College on Thursday night as they rolled to an 81-45 victory over the Lady Magicians to complete a three-game season sweep.  The sweep advances the Lady Bulldogs to 4-3 on the season.

After a tough 71-60 road loss to the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff on Tuesday night, the Lady Bulldogs looked to bounce back on the winning side of things.  The Lady Bulldogs jumped out on the Lady Magicians from the tip, taking a 20-2 lead within the first five minutes of the contest.  At the end of the first quarter, the Lady Bulldogs led 33-14 and they continue to pour it on the Lady Magicians throughout the contest.  At halftime, the Lady Bulldogs had a 48-27 edge over the Lady Magicians.

The Lady Bulldogs forced the Lady Magicians to commit 20 turnovers compared to the Lady Bulldogs' 9 turnovers and held the Lady Magicians to 27% field goal shooting compared to the Lady Bulldogs' 45% shooting.

Only one Lady Bulldog player reached double figure scoring and that was Tynika Bender with 11 points.  Shenequa Foster, Jermani Thompson and Dymond all followed Bender with 9 points apiece and Montoria Atkinson chipped in 7 points and 10 rebounds.

The Lady Bulldogs are off until January 7th when they open conference play in New Orleans, LA against Xavier University.  Game time is scheduled for 5:00 P.M. in the Convocation Center.
